Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Welcomes New Fellows
(Hong Kong, 18 December 2025) – Along with the previously announced Fellows, the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering (HKAE) is pleased to announce one additional distinguished professional inducted as a Fellow on 16 December 2025 at HKAE's office. The complete list of newly elected Fellows, recognized for outstanding expertise and significant contributions to engineering, is presented below in alphabetical order:

President, City University of Hong Kong
Citation: For pioneering biomaterials and nanotechnology in medicine, including biodegradable stents and surgical retractors, with successful commercialization.

Chief Executive Officer, CLP Holdings Limited
Citation: For pioneering decarbonization projects in Hong Kong's electricity sector, including gas turbine units and LNG infrastructure, alongside smart grid, digital, and safety innovations for reliable, efficient power supply.
